La Martiniere Kolkata Lower Nursery Admission 2013-2014

La Martiniere, Kolkata is inviting applications for admission to Lower Nursery for Boys & Girls for the academic session of 2013 – 2014.

Application Form

Application Forms will be available between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. only on working days – Monday to Friday at the Girls’ School Office for girls and at the Boys’ School Office for boys.

The Form is to be filled in by hand and along with necessary documents, be enclosed in an envelope addressed to the Principal and dropped into the SPECIALLY MARKED BOX, provided by the school for the purpose. Application dropped in the Principal’s letter box or the Principal’s Office / Secretariat will not be entertained. These will be considered null and void.
It has been observed in past years that many applications for admission to the Girls’ school have been dropped in the Boys’ school box and vice versa. Please note that such applications will not be considered.

Eligibility

The candidate’s date of birth must fall between 1st January, 2010 and 31st December, 2010, (both days inclusive), to be eligible for Lower Nursery.

Instructions

The Prescribed Form must be filled in by hand and accompanied by the following:

1. Attested Photocopy of the Candidate’s
a. Municipal Corporation Birth Certificate.
b. Hospital or Nursing Home Discharge Certificate.
c. Baptism Certificate (Christians).
2. One passport size photograph each of the candidate, father and mother to be pasted on the form.
3. If the parent is an ex-student of La Martiniere, Kolkata, an attested photo-copy of the parent’s School Leaving Certificate and a copy of the Board Examination passed from La Martiniere, Kolkata.

(ii) Other denominations (Christians)
(iii) Children of Staff of La Martiniere, Kolkata
(iv) Anglo Indians
The candidates belonging to the above groups must fulfill all other criteria.

CATEGORY ‘B’
(i) Brothers/Sisters (not cousins) of children CURRENTLY
studying in La Martiniere, Kolkata.
(ii) Children of Ex-students of La Martiniere, Kolkata.
The candidates belonging to the above groups must fulfill all other criteria.

CATEGORY ‘C’
(i) All Others.

Note:

1. Submission of an Application with accompanying documents or of the candidate being called for interaction, is no guarantee for admission.
2. Incorrect or Incomplete Application will be rejected.
3. In the interest of your child, no academic pressure or tuition is required.
4. La Martiniere does not accept any donations nor does it have representatives authorized to approach parents on behalf of the School.
5. The candidate’s date of birth should have been registered with the Municipal Corporation prior to his / her completing the age of one.
6. Parents of Candidates, selected for interaction, shall be intimated by post.
7. All photocopies of documents must be attested by a 1st Class Gazetted Officer or a Notary Public.
8. Please do not submit any original documents. These will only be required at the time of the interaction.
