Sainik School, Kazhakootam invites application from boys only for All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam for admission to class VI and IX June 2013-2014 to prepare the boys academically, physically and mentally for entry into the National Defence Academy and other walks of life.
Age Limits
For Admission to class VI Born not before 02 Jul 2002 and not after 01 Jul 2003. For admission to class IX Born not before 02 Jul 1999 and not after 01 Jul 2000 and should be studying in class VIII in a recognized school.

The admissions will be made strictly in accordance with the merit in the Entrance Examination, Interview and Medical fitness of candidates.
Reservation of Seats
25% for sons of Defence and Ex-service Personnel, 15 % for SC and 7.5% for ST.

Prospectus, Application form and previous year question papers can be obtained from the Principal, Sainik School Kazhakootam, Sainik School PO, Trivandrum 695585 from 15 Oct 2012 through a Demand Draft payable at Trivandrum drawn in favor of “Principal, Sainik School Kazhakootam” along with a request letter. Address with Telephone No., Category and the class applied for and Date of Birth should be clearly mentioned in the request letter.
On receipt of request letter and draft the Prospectus along with application form & model Question paper will be sent by Registered post.
The application form can also be purchase directly from the school office or downloaded from the school website ‘www.sainikschooltvm.org’ from15 Oct 2012.
Application forms downloaded from the website are to be submitted duly filled to this office along with registration fee.
On receipt of filled application forms, Prospectus and Model question papers will be dispatched to the applicant.
